As unbelievable as it may seem, 30% of the world’s population had completely vanished from the face of the Earth at precisely 6:65 PM. The clocks that had bypassed the :59 mark caught the attention of many working in offices, attending classes, waiting to board their plane, etc.; however, that was only the tip of the iceberg. What really took humanity by storm was the missing 2,250,000,000 individuals. The fact that no one had an answer for this had only made matters worse. Immediately, police stations were inundated with reports of missing parents and children; news stations wasted no time to broadcast and question if this was a terrorist attack; religious minded individuals believed it to be “The Rapture.” Despite everyone’s attempt to find a logical explanation or reasoning behind it all, though, they could not.
Among the pool of 30% that had vanished without question was yourself: a being that had more to offer to the world despite what you or anyone else believed. Completely oblivious to the fact yourselves, each individual within that 30% was a child of a God from Ancient Mythology — a "Demi-God" to be precise. Whether they were the Son of Apollo from Greek Mythology or the Daughter of Tsukuyomi from Japanese Mythology, all 2,250,000,000 of these Demi-Gods hailed from a god in history (Chinese, African, Norse, Hindu, Japanese, Greek, Roman, etc.).
The reason behind these individuals being summoned to the World of Mythology was not for celebration or to be reunited with their mythological parent. No — that would be far too simple. A problem had come to fruition, one that not even "The Divine Council" could have predicted. And although the council consists of a congregation of highly spiritual beings who supervise all of Mythology, even this was out of their reach.
Exactly 99% of Mythological Gods had gone missing; because of this, lands within the realms began to become corrupted. Beasts of all sorts seemed to have found a home in the darkness that continues to spread. Due to the nature of all this, a small faction of The Divine Council agreed to uproot the Demi-Gods from their world and bring them to their own. Hoping that these individuals' arrival would be a beacon of hope in the cloud of darkness. It is left to be seen whether or not the 30% will aid the World of Mythology or help destroy it.
